Springboks Defeat England Comfortably in Rugby World Cup Final

English Rugby fans felt the heartache of defeat on Saturday as Eddie Jones’ side lost to a terrific South Africa side in the Rugby World Cup Final. Supporters in their native England had to rise early to watch the Springboks defeat England 32-12 in Japan.

Pubs around the country were filled to capacity in the hopes that England could repeat their 2003 win over Australia, with thousands of fans watching in Japan, alongside Prince Harry, patron of the Rugby Football Union.

The match, which kicked off at 09:00 GMT at Yokohama’s International Stadium, was England’s first final for twelves years.
