Tai Soon Bar

Rustic appeal is the order of the day at Tai Soon Bar, with decaying walls and metal, paired with neon signs and Chinese lanterns creating an edgy and relaxed establishment that specialises in craft beers. It is located close to the similarly styled Uncle Tims and it retains the architecture left behind by the Old Town pharmacy that used to occupy the frontage. The bar is shaped like a drug cabinet and hosts 13 rotating taps, with Triple Pearl witbier (B220) and Moonzen’s Sour Milk Company Passionfruit IPA (B240), particularly impressing the punters. Enjoyed on a high-platform mezzanine amongst the lanterns.
